Our Story

At GG’s Stroopwafels, every bite tells a story—one of love, tradition, and generations of baking from the heart. We are a proud family-owned business rooted in heritage and guided by the hands of those who came before us.

Our founder, Gerri, learned to create traditional Dutch treats from recipes that were lovingly passed down and are now the foundation of everything we make. GG’s—named in honor of both her grandmother and mother—is Gerri’s tribute to the women who taught her that food made with care connects us to home, family, and culture.

Our signature treat, the Stroopwafel, is a beloved Dutch pastry cookie with a rich, gooey homemade caramel syrup center, pressed between two thin, buttery waffles. We make ours just like Gerri’s family always has—by hand, from scratch, and with an uncompromising commitment to quality.

But the story doesn’t end with Stroopwafels. At GG’s, you’ll also find a selection of comforting, time-honored desserts like cookies, donuts, and our famously flavorful bread puddings—available in varieties like maple bacon, Nutella, and lemon blueberry.
